Wow. I stumbled across this video/channel while searching for release date news on the new Salem’s Lot adaptation coming to Max this year and was unexpectedly sucked into an intelligent and knowledgeable in-depth discussion of all things Salem’s Lot. I actually didn’t want the video to end, so I would absolutely watch a video discussing Midnight Mass as the best low-key Salem’s Lot adaptation we didn’t even know we needed. And I too would love to see the footage of Rutger Hauer’s ad-lib monologue from Salem’s Lot 2004. Hopefully we’ll get a trailer for Salem’s Lot 2024 soon and eventually get to see if King’s novel can somehow work with a runtime of 1 hour 53 minutes. I’m not so sure, but as long as it’s not 2004 version bad, I think I can live with it. And if not, we’ll always have the 1979 version (and Midnight Mass).

I'm 81 and remember listening to "The Shadow" but don't remember when exactly it was on. We had one of those monster floor-model Philcos. I could be wrong but believe I listened in the late 40's. I still remember who knew Lamont Cranston was The Shadow but I can't say.

As a child Vincent Price movies were my favorite.
